Olson

Donna Olson learned Hardangersom from the Norwegian women in Stoughton and followed up with classes through EGA. From 1972 she has led ongoing classes in needlepoint embroidery and Hardangersom through the Madison Area Technical College.

TERRI

Bay

Terri Bay is an embroidery teacher and designer from South Carolina. Her passions are Whitework and Blackwork either separate or dancing a beautiful duet with each other. Terri has taught for many years at various shops, retreats, EGA chapter workshops, and EGA seminars.

BEGINNER CLASS BY DONNA

These 9.5" plates use traditional Hardanger embroidery stitches with a variety of old flowers enriching the designs. We will learn the tricks of stitching to clean up the cutwork and the back side of the finished pieces which are often used on side tables and coffee tables.   Floral Plates is stitched 25 ct. material,

In The Snow

ADVANCED CLASS BY TERRI

An advanced level Hardanger doily which measures just under 10 inches point to point.  It is worked on 28 count linen with two sizes of pearl cotton. It teaches a variety of filling stitches and the lacy edge technique. The students would have pre work consisting of Klosters, double cable, back stitch, and some simple eyelets. The design is 9.5 inches point to point.
